Meet author Alyssa J. Montgomery in person at Kempsey Library where she'll share some fascinating stories about the creative writing process, how she got published, and how to create the perfect romance.

Alyssa J. Montgomery is a bestselling author who writes sensual contemporary romances for Escape Publishing (Harlequin Enterprises Australia) and also pens medieval romance as Alyssa James. As well as writing, she has been a professional pianist, an international flight attendant with Qantas Airways, obtained a Masters degree in Science and continues to work in her own private practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Alyssa lives with her husband and three children on a property south of Sydney where they are visited by the occasional wallaby and echidna.
