Council calls on community to be part of a renewed focus on reconciliation

Kempsey Shire Library has compiled this list of resources to help families, students and researchers to locate items in the library’s collection that relate to the local indigenous community.

The library has a separate Aboriginal Collection.

Dhanggati Language Group

The Ngabu Bingayi Aboriginal Corporation is a group of Dhanggati Elders and younger people dedicated to the wellbeing of Dhanggati people in the Macleay Valley of New South Wales. Ngabu means elder sister and Bingayi means elder brother thus: Sisters and Brothers.
