Launch into the library for fun kids activities these school holidays!

This September and October school holidays the Kempsey Library has lots of fun activities to keep the kids busy. From songs and stories to crafts, as well as a visit from Piper the story dog, join us at one of these free sessions.
Storytime with Piper the Story Dog!

Join Piper the Story Dog for a special Storytime session. There will be stories, songs, craft and plenty of time for pats. For ages 3+
Coral reef craft
Tues 3 October 2023 | 10:30 - 11:30am
Let's get crafty and create a coral reef using recycled and natural materials. You will be cutting, gluing, painting and constructing your own beautiful reef to take home. For ages 5+
Storytime with Susea Spray
Thurs 5 October 2023 | 10:30 - 11:30am
Join author and sailor Susea Spray for a reading of her picture book 'A Big Blue Boat'. Hear all about Susea's sailing adventures and how they inspired her story. There will then be a fun craft activity. For ages 3+

To book into a Library school holiday event
Please note the booking process for school holiday events has changed to make it easier for all:
- Arrive at the Library 15 minutes prior to the event
- Collect a token from the library front desk for all children who would like to attend
- Proceed to the event area
- Once all tokens are collected the event is full
- Anyone who misses out will be directed to the children’s area for colouring in and lego.
