Manga magic with Stephen McLeod at Kempsey Library

Kempsey Library was buzzing with creativity on Monday 14 April as local artist Stephen McLeod led a fantastic Manga Drawing Workshop. With 12 kids and 2 adults taking part, the session was a hit from the start.

Stephen’s friendly and encouraging approach made everyone feel at ease, inspiring participants to embrace their individual styles while exploring new drawing techniques. Using both Stephen’s expert guidance and Kempsey Library’s great range of Manga drawing books, everyone got stuck into creating their own unique characters and artworks.

It was amazing to see such talent on display, with each piece showing imagination, skill and personality. Stephen was blown away by the enthusiasm and creativity in the room, and all participants came away from the workshop with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a boost of confidence in their artistic abilities.
