Author Talks are the Bee's Knees!

Thank you to everyone who attended out Author Talk with Fiona McArthur - it was a fantastic turnout with 20 people.

 

Fiona shared how this book, The Featherwood Beekeeper, impacted her life for the better: it was one that had her smiling throughout the writing process.

She loved revisiting the lives of the locals in Featherwood, who feel a bit like old friends, and she introduced us to some new characters, like Birdie, who the audience was keen to hear more about in future books (no pressure, Fiona, but there was talk of a petition).

 

With research and perseverance this book helped Fiona overcome a phobia of bees she’s lived with since she was a child. Talk about impressive!
