Read, Grow, Inspire

Imagine you are given a magical seed to care for. How will you care for your magical seed? What will it grow into? What does your seed look like? How long will it take to grow? Write us a short story OR draw us a picture and enter it into our competition.

How can I enter?

You can download entry forms from our website or you can pick them up and return them to any Kempsey Shire Library branch (Kempsey, South West Rocks and Stuarts Point).

Where will my work be displayed?

Finalists will be displayed in Kempsey Library and Library patrons will vote on a People's Choice winner for the Drawing Competition.

Kempsey Shire Librarians will vote on a Librarian's Choice for the Writing competition.

What will I win?

1st place and People's/Librarian's choice winners will receive a $60 Big W voucher.

When do I need to enter?

Entries must be submitted by Friday 25th August, 2023. Winners will be announced on Wednesday 30th August, 2023.
