As the sun shines brighter and school bells ring their final goodbyes, the Kempsey Library is gearing up for an exciting literary journey with the launch of the Summer Reading Club 2023-24. This annual event, designed to spark the imagination and foster a love for reading among children, promises a season filled with adventure, discovery, and fantastic tales.

Exciting Events and Prizes
The Summer Reading Club isn't just about reading; it's about experiencing the joy of stories together.
Throughout the summer, the Kempsey Library has planned a series of exciting events, from storytelling sessions to interactive workshops, ensuring every child finds a way to engage with the magic of books. Get involved in all the activities including:
- Storytime with Piper the Story Dog
- A fact find treasure hunt
- Book mark competition
- Summer poetry competition
And let's not forget the incredible prizes waiting to be won! As children reach different reading milestones, they'll have the chance to unlock rewards and be in the running for prizes. Any child that completes 10 of the reading challenges will be invited to the Summer Reading Club Wrap Up Party which will be held on Saturday 3 February at Majestic Cinemas, Kempsey.
