Kempsey Library will hold 3 upcycling workshops during National Recycling Week to show simple ways we can reduce waste.

National Recycling Week is from 1 to 13 November 2022. The theme this year explores the idea that waste isn't waste until it's wasted.

The workshops will be held in partnership with MidWaste Regional Waste Forum. Reuse, repair and recycle your old stuff into new things to help reduce waste.

Join one or all of the 3 workshops to learn how to reduce your carbon footprint and help lower greenhouse-gas emissions.

The three workshops will be held at the Kempsey Library.

  • Give your old t-shirt a new life - no sewing skills required

    5 – 7pm 2 November 2022

  • Make your own reusable produce bags from old curtains

    5 – 7pm 10 November 2022

  • Learn how to make your own soil
    10.30am – 12noon 12 November 2022

Join one or all of the upcycling workshops at Kempsey Library during National Recycling Week and discover clever ways to reduce waste. By attending a workshop you'll have the chance to receive a free pack of reusable produce bags to help you take one more step in reducing waste.
